    Easter Opening Hours

    The surgery will be closed for Easter on Good Friday, 19th April and Easter Monday, 22nd April. Any repeat medication you will need between these dates will have to be ordered no later than 12pm on Tuesday 16th April. Anything ordered after this time will not be guaranteed to be ready for you to pick up before we close at 6.30pm on Thursday 18th April. Please also note, that when we reopen on Tuesday 23rd April, only emergency appointments will be available.

    Gabapentin & Pregablin

    On or before the 1st April 2019 the above drugs will be classified as 'controlled drugs' under new guidelines. This means that if you usually have these medications, or are prescribed them, they will not be able to be sent electronically to the pharmacy. They will have to be picked up from the surgery as someone will have to sign for them. Thank you.

    With effect from the 1st April 2019 commissioning of the ear irrigation service will be withdrawn by Birmingham and Solihull CCG. From this date the CCG will be providing information to us which we will share with you for the conservative management of ear wax. Please note that our Reception Staff will no longer be able to book appointments for this service with our practice nurses. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation with this matter.

    Christmas is Coming!!

    The practice will close at 6.30pm on Christmas Eve, 24th December, and re-opens at 8am on Thursday 27th December. Please note that if you need any repeat medication for over the Christmas period, you need to re-order it with the practice by 1pm on Wednesday 19th December.

    World Suicide Prevention Day Today

    Grafton Road Surgery has signed the Solihull Zero Suicide Pledge, which aims to end suicides in Solihull. If you would like to know more, or find ways that you can be supported, there is information in the practice for you to pick up. If you would like to talk to someone in confidence about how you are feeling, the Samaritans in Solihull are available 24 hours a day and you can contact them by ringing 0121 704 2255 (local call charges apply) or the National telephone: 116 123 (this number is free to call).

    On Thursday 23rd August we will be installing a brand new, updated telephone system. This will mean on that day you will be unable to contact the surgery by telephone from 1pm for approximately 3 hours. Reception will be open for you to come into the surgery as usual during this time.
