Appointments

GP appointments at the Practice are available to be booked, via the Telephone, via Online Services and in person at the Practice. We, however, do not encourage patients to visit the Practice in person as this will not guarantee an appointment. There are several face to face appointment types: bookable up to 4 weeks in advance, bookable on the day, bookable online and we also offer telephone consultations.

Our GPs have asked that our Receptionists ask for a brief overview as to why you will need to see the Doctor, this is to help with ensuring that you are being signposted to the correct most effective service. All of our staff are governed by Privacy and Confidentiality and respect that at all times.

To use our online service please ask at Reception for the enrolment form or download from this website.

Our telephone lines can become very busy at peak times (8.00am to 11.00am each day) so you will be placed in a queue. We apologise for any delays but our reception team will answer as soon as they can.

In urgent cases, particularly sick children, you may well be seen on the same day although not always by the doctor of your choice.

You may consult any of the doctors for non-urgent and/or continuing problems. It may not always be possible to see the same Doctor, however we will endeavour to comply with all requests where reasonably practicable to do so. You may have to wait longer to be seen by your preferred GP.

If you cannot keep your appointment, please let reception know as soon as possible so that it can be offered to another patient who may need it. If you have online access you can also cancel your appointment online or respond to your text message reminder. Please note: we monitor non-attendance of appointments. If, after a warning, the problem persists, we would regard that as evidence of a breakdown in the doctor/patient relationship and in such instances reserve the right to remove the patient from our practice list.

The Practice is pleased to provide patients with access to its Clinical System via a Secure Web Interface.
